Two lonely Kansas dogs running in the road - I wish they could talk and tell me their stories!

Cruiser is a Dalmatian with a scar on his forehead and two bullets in his side. He was found by a great rescue organization in Kansas called Second Chance Animal Refuge Society (www.scarsusa.com). They took him in, and there he met Miss Tilly Marie.

Miss Tilly is the Beagle mix who was currently running the shelter. She was fed first, the only dog allowed on the stairs, and though she was the queen dog, she was still lonely, hated puppies jumping all over her, and wanted a home & human of her own. I went to work at this wonderful rescue, and saw that while many of the dogs were content to live there indefinitely, Cruiser and Tilly needed a quieter home.

So they moved back east with me, I have had them 6 years now, and they are wonderful companions. You can see their pictures, and those of more great rescue dogs, at the website listed above.
